Totes stole this from somebody else but, it’s what I’ve been trying to explain for a long time

Agnosticism is to knowledge as atheism is to religion

So when someone says that they are agnostic, they are stating that they understand the fact that we as humans cannot prove or disprove that there is some sort of deity overlooking every move we make. We do not have the means to conduct an empirical experiment.

When someone identifies themselves as atheist, they completely refuse the possibility of any sort of deity which is just the opposite of a theist, who believes that a deity of some sort does exist.

When someone says that they are an agnostic atheist, they are saying while they cannot know for sure that there is or isn’t a deity, they choose to not believe in the possibility of one.

When someone says that they are an agnostic theist, they are saying that while they cannot know for sure that there is or isn’t a deity, but nonetheless choose to believe in the possibility of one.
